Shafaq News/ After the announcement of the provincial council in Diayala province, the formation of administrative and economic Region by the majority of its members to be the second province after Saladin but this approval was conditioned  upon the exception of the disputed areas, and the positions between the blocs and political parties differed in this regard.At the time the Kurdish bloc in the provincial council revealed to review in the formation of Diayala Region, in the event of the inclusion of the disputed areas, the Dialogue Front in the Iraqia List, carried the Islamic parties responsibility for repeated calls for the formation of Regions , and warned the Islamic groups of disagreement about  the disputed areas. The white bloc confirmed that the calling for forming regions is the lack of legal demarcation of the administrative border of the provinces.

The member of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc Dalair Hassan said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" the alliance received verbal assurances from the rest of the blocks that have agreed to form a Region of Diayala which agreed about the annexation of the disputed areas to the Kurdistan Region.

Diayala provincial council, voted on Monday ,by the majority of its members to declare  a administrative and economic Region, with the signing of the majority of Council members about a formal request addressed to the Central Government in this regard.

For his part, the leader of the Dialogue Front, affiliated to the Iraqia List, Hamid al-Mutlaq said in an interview with "Shafaq  News", "Islamist parties that are driving the formation of regions seeking to divide Iraq."

"There is also the Islamic parties in the government that led the people of the provinces claim provinces through the practices of oppression and marginalization in decision-making services and construction," He continued, explaining that "the establishment of regions, could lead to the division of Iraq, and this is what we reject absolutely " .
