Iraqi Communist Party demands the restitution of confiscated properties, and 200 vehicles confiscated by Saddam Hussein

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Communist Party, demanded Wednesday, to return  his properties and 200 cars Saddam Hussein's regime had confiscated earlier, while pointing to his quest to unify the national discourse and unity for all the political blocs after the withdrawal of U.S. troops .A member of the Political Bureau of the Iraqi Communist Party Mohammed Jassim Allabban said to  "Shafaq  News" that "the judicial authorities are to return the property of the party and 200 cars, which was confiscated on the orders of the former regime of Saddam Hussein."The military force, in the middle of this year, called the Iraqi Communist Party to vacate its headquarters at the request of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, according to a member of the Central Committee Jassim Hilfi.

"The party has made requests to the judicial authorities since 2004 to restore the property, but the routine and corruption in  the government departments prevented the receipt of these properties." Allabban,said

"We are ready to vacate the current headquarters after the receipt of our confiscated buildings." He added

"The party seeking through his meetings with all political parties to unite the national discourse and unite after the withdrawal of U.S. forces to get out from the current crisis." he explained.

It is said that a leading delegation of the Iraqi Communist Party met, earlier, with Secretary General of the Liberal block Dhiya’a al-Asadi. The two sides discussed the political realities and manifestations of obscure crisis in the country, and stressed the need to move the political forces that he called keen on the high interests of the country and the safety of the political process .
