The Deputy Chief of Army Staff Abboud Qanbar said  on the sidelines of the third annual conference for Nano Science to "Shafaq  News",Nanotechnology is defined as the technology that contribute in the production of new features for the same element , as scientists have discovered that a substance has different properties when it is in the size of Nano-microscopy and thus they can minimize the big stuff to the a smaller size with much higher efficiency  and effectiveness . For    example it is possible to make  an aircraft with the size of the mosquito or making spy agencies that cannot be seen only by a microscope.

"the science of nanotechnology will be the substitute for many of the current military equipment in the near future," adding that "this technology will be used initially to detect car bombs and explosive devices  as well as it will be used in the detection of nests of armed groups and pursue them."
