Iraqia: Maliki left his country's problems to concern with the situation in Syria

Shafaq News/ The Iraqia List, called on Monday, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's to pay attention to the Iraqi situation and internal problems, rather than attention to the situation in Syria, while it expressed discontent with the foreign intervention to Iraq, demanded the Iraqi government not to succumb to the "pressures and trends of Iran."The MP Hamid al-Mutlaq said to  "Shafaq  News", "The positions of the Iraqi government were not well thought out and not accurate, and we are with any initiative to keep  the blood of the Syrian people, but before that we are a country full of problems, Rather it is sufficient that government to gathering up and placed inside the country and create a stable political homogeneous and integrated ".Mutlaq said that "Iraqia does not want a foreign policy based on sectarian lines where it is not secret that there is an Iranian role   " and urged the Iraqi government " not to yield to pressure of Iran and consent with the political trends."

The sources in the Iraqi government close to Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki said that Baghdad was seeking to resolve the crisis between the Syrian government and the opposition, denying at the same time sending and Iraqi delegations to Damascus to discuss the matter.

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Nabil Arabi arrived in Baghdad last Thursday and held a meeting with Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and other Iraqi officials, led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on the situation in the region and the issue of holding the Arab summit in Baghdad and the cause of the crisis the Syrian way.
