Shafaq News/ The parliamentary finance committee, revealed on Thursday, that the government submitted the final accounts of the past three years, indicating that it will reach the House of Representatives after the approval of the Council of Ministers,
except the final accounts for 2011.The Parliamentary Committee of the economy and investment announced yesterday that they will not ratify the budget in 2012 unless the government to send its final accounts, pointing out that the price per barrel of oil will exceed $ 100 in contrast to that adopted by the government in the budget in 2012.The reporter of the Finance Committee Ahmad Almasari said in an interview with "Shafaq News" "The final accounts for 2009 and 2010,are ready by the government and will reach the House of Representatives after the approval of the Council of Ministers," noting that "the accounts in 2011 will be delayed a bit for it can not be completed at the moment" .He stressed on the "need to speed up the ratification of the budget of 2012 to meet the requirements of the development in the country, including the development of the regions and governorates," pointing out that "the Finance Committee received assurances from the Ministry of Finance about the arrival of the final accounts before approving the budget of 2012."
The speaker of the House of Representatives Osama Najaifi, called last week, for speeding up the completion of the budget in 2012.
The Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, announced in the middle of last month, that the budget for fiscal year 2012 will be forwarded to the Parliament soon.
