Kurdistani: Harith al-Dhari’s statements have no value and he is an enemy of democracy in Iraq
Shafaq News / Kurdistani Alliance bloc counted, on Thursday, the last statement of the Association of Muslim Scholars led by Harith al-Dari, as it has no value, and has no even slightest importance, calling for fundamental reforms in the Kurdistan Region to solve the problems suffered by the latter.
The MP of the Kurdish coalition blocs, Mahmoud Othman, said to "Shafaq News", "Harith al-Dari statements including his recent statement about the Kurdistan Region is of no value, and have no even slightest importance."It is said that the Muslim Scholars Association headed by Harith al-Dari, which is wanted by the Iraqi government said in a statement, Wednesday, solidarity with the Kurdish people in the face of what it called policies to humiliate it and try to strip it of its religion and values, history and heritage by imposition of unfamiliar foreign cultures.
A number of cities of Dohuk province has witnessed incidents of violence by the groups of young people attacked liquor stores and massage clubs, , hotels and tourist facilities and burned them after the issuance of advisory opinion from the Friday sermon preacher, of Zakho for jihad against these shops, as other groups attacked the headquarters of Kurdistani Islamic Union party in these cities and burned them.
"Harith al-Dari, and since the beginning of the political process after 09/04/2003 has been against the Iraqis who have chosen democracy, so no wonder about his hostile actions against the Kurdistan Region." Othman said.
The Friday sermon preacher of Zakho, Ismail Al-Sindi, on Wednesday, accused the Kurdistani Islamic Union Party of involvement in "a conspiracy to trigger events" in the city of Zakho, of Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan Region.
Sindi denied inciting people to attack those places, saying "I did not talk in my speech about the burning of liquor shops and massage clubs, and tourist facilities, at all ,but I spoke about peaceful coexistence in Kurdistan."
