Ministry of Culture of Kurdistan holds a course of the electronic media and a photography gallery in Khanaqin

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Culture and Youth in the Kurdistan Regional Government, announced Wednesday the opening of the electronic media course and photography gallery in collaboration with the Khanaqin cultural Center in Khanaqin in Diayala province, going on from this Wednesday until the 20th  of January.The official of Khanaqin cultural center artist Majid Shaliar in a statement to "Shafaq News" that "the Directorate General of Information in the city of Sulaymaniyah belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Sports, in the Government of the Kurdistan region ,opened at 10:30 am on Wednesday the  a course of electronic media under the theme (for more interest in digital media) in collaboration with the Khanaqin Cultural Center in the city of Khanaqin. "He "The course includes special lectures in montage, photography, Photoshop and web design (website) given by professors, specialists in the Directorate General for Information in Sulaymaniyah," adding that "the course is open to all journalists and students in the vicinity of Khanaqin district and will continue until the 20th of this month."On the other hand, and to coincide with the course above the Directorate General for Information in Sulaymaniyah held in collaboration with the Khanaqin cultural Center photography gallery entitled (the rhythm of life in Khanaqin) by the Kurdish Khanaqian plastics artist Majid Shaliar containing more than 50 photographs that mimic everyday life, Kurdish heritage and folklore in the city of Khanaqin as artist Majid Shaliar stated to "Shafaq News".

The town of Khanaqin is 180 km northeast of Baghdad, and it is a center of a district with the same name belonging to the province of Diayala, where a Kurdish majority live and it is within the disputed areas between Erbil and Baghdad, according to the Article 140 of the Iraqi constitution.
