House of Representatives announced one condition to approve the budget of 2012

Shafaq News/ The parliamentary Committee of the economy and investment announced, Wednesday, that it will not ratify the budget of 2012 unless the government to send its final accounts, pointing out that the price per barrel of oil will exceed $ 100 in contrast to that adopted by the government in the budget in 2012. The parliamentary Finance Committee had announced, last Friday, the completion of the budget in 2012 after the end of the rituals held on the occasion of Ashura’a, explaining that it could persuade the International Monetary Fund not to reduce the amounts allocated to projects, services and regional development." The House demands not to approve the budget of 2012 in the absence of the government's final accounts for previous years." The member of the Committee of Economy and Investment Mahma Khalil said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" ."The price per barrel of oil will exceed $ 100 as a result of the events and political ,economic and security changes, in the region and the world, and that was in the contrary to what was adopted by the government in the pricing of oil barrel which amounted to $ 85." He added.The head of the Finance Committee Haider al-Abadi had said, last week, during a press conference held at Parliament House, the budget of 2012 will reach the House of Representatives next week after the Ministry of Finance to reduce the deficit, and adopt pricing of $ 85 per barrel of oil.

The speaker of the House of Representatives Osama Najaifi, called  last week, to speed up the completion of the budget of 2012.

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, in the middle of last month, that the budget for fiscal year 2012 will be forwarded to the Parliament soon.
