Shafaq News/ Members in the forums of Iraqi fundamentalists declared on the Internet their support to the Syrian opposition, to bring down the regime of Bashar al-Assad, calling to send fighters and weapons to them. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has expressed the readiness to receive the Syrian opposition parties in Baghdad to find solutions that meet the demands of Syrian people away from violence and civil war as he put it.According to French reports, citing from articles published on these hard-line sites such as "Hunain " and "Ansar al-Mujahideen", that criticize  the Assad regime in Syria, and Video clips showing the events that are taking place there.The Syrian regime belongs to the Alawite minority, which is an offshoot of Shiite Islam, while protesters claimants back reforms to the Sunni majority and some of them are from Salafi currents,In the Ansar Al-Mujahideen, Forum a person nicknamed Abu Zahra Zubaidi (an Iraqi) recommended Syrian opposition to "buy weapons, armament, and take over what is in the stores of weapons." He said, addressing the Syrian opposition "This is your chance only to remove the tyrant in Syria and his soldiers."The positions of Iraqi militant groups were contrary to the position of the government in Baghdad, which has supported the Syrian regime, which many attribute it to the sectarian reasons .

"The government's positions are sectarian and they are explained through  its condemnation of oppression in Bahrain, which came from a Sunni government  and its support to the Shiite Syrian regime." The political and media analyst Kadhim Miqdadi said to  "Shafaq News".

Analysts and observers, see that the current events in Syria will move the front taken by militant groups in Iraq to the Syrian territory, in which armed groups are active in conjunction with the current events  . They are mostly associated with, Salafi currents that work to bring down the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
