Q- Who is Aadil Bunjashma ?

- I was born in Khanaqin in 1963 and I first opened  my eyes on the city and its river ( Wind River ) with its beautiful stone bridge and its art . I completed my primary and intermediate and preparatory studies in the city of Khanaqin . Then I completed my university study in Baghdad .

Q- Would you tell us something about your start with the plastic art ?

- Since my childhood I loved plastic art and I began participating in artistic activities in school through all stages .

Q- Which artistic school is the nearest to your thinking and how do you draw ?

- In the beginning of my academic study I headed towards the surrealistic school and I expressed the feelings of hunger and illness and disease . Then I changed to express the pain of racialism and wars as well as genocide .

Q- What about the galleries you held ?

- I held several  individual galleries but the most important of them was that which was held in 1999 in what was called ( Saddam's center for arts )

Q- What do the Khaniqians want ?

- We try to present all what we can for the help and service of our city and we work hard for this purpose putting in our minds that our city had been subjected to marginalization and disregard as well as forgetfulness . Nevertheless our people is so faithful to their city .
