as well as hitting and abusing by the army and security forces against some media people. This aroused many responses by other media people .

The writer and poet Fallakuddin Kaka'i the owner of Alta'akhi  newspaper stressed in a talk to Shafaq :" Chasing and arresting the journalists and closing the social clubs or combating the writers union and music lessons barring are negative phenomena  that take us back to the dark periods .We wish the Iraqi society which advanced constantly in spite of the hard conditions  would overtake it ."

The Kurdistani journalists union's secretary Ali Hussein  Alfaily expressed his regret and resentment because of the absence of the  clear governmental attitude to denounce the assaults which the journalists were subjected to on Friday 25^th of January . He said :' It is so painful to see the absence of the clear  governmental attitude to denounce the assaults against the journalists in Baghdad as well as other areas in Iraq which witnessed  the 25 demonstrations and call for avoiding reoccurrence of them.
