The spokesman of the Kurdistani alliance coalition Mua'yyed  Taiyyeb said in a statement for Shafaq :…

" The draft law of compensation has been suggested by a representative from the coalition of the Kurdistani blocs . It provide for requesting the Iraqi parliament to allocate a part of the general Budget to compensate the Anfal victims and the chemical attacks against Halabja as well as the Faily Kurds for the crimes committed against them.

He added :" The Faily Kurds are included because the crimes committed against them were regarded by the High Criminal Court as genocide . So they must be compensated for their properties which were confiscated by the former regime through the deportation and displacement processes they had been subjected to ."

For his part Dr Sa'id Rasul Khushnow the MP from the coalition of the Kurdistani blocs said to Shafaq : " The first people that were affected by the policies of the former regime in Iraq were the Faily Kurds , for the crimes committed against them preceded the deportation and arabizations campaigns and the Anfal processes as well as the genocide which the areas of the Kurdistan Region had been subjected to ."Therefore the priority must be given to the Faily Kurds in the issue of the compensations ." He concluded .
