Will the Faily Kurds disappear even in the new government?
Shafaq /Kifah Hadi
Today, the top issue is the new government formation .Hence the political forces are scrambling to gain this position …
or that at the time frustration and desperation of getting one bag of portfolios haunts most of the Faily Kurds, , for lack of representation in the Parliament.
Dr. Sa'ad Bashir, Director of Iraqi Library and Archives indicated to some of the reasons that prevented the Faily Kurds access to the parliament and the denial of getting a seat in the next governmental collection. He showed in an interview with Shafaq: (It is known that Iraqi society is divided into different religious and nationalist ethnics . The political system in Iraq is built on the representation of all components, but unfortunately we are witnessing an obvious exclusion of Faily Kurds sect although it is a genuine component, due to the negligence of the Kurdish parties, as well as Shiite parties for this component).
He added: (It was these parties that became an important reason for the dispersion of Faily Kurds to this side or that, and the result is the denial of their participation in the parliament or government). Dr. Majid Ja'afar, a resident of Sweden agreed with what was said by Sa'ad al-Bashir and added: (The diversity and differences of the Faily Kurds that led to the disintegration was the reason for the lack of access to what they were aspiring for in the parliament or the government).
MP in the outgoing parliament Aamir Thamir threw the ball in the court of the dominant political forces on the Iraqi scene, explaining in an interview with Shafaq: (The reason of the failure of the Faily Kurds access to parliament in its current session, as well as their presence in the government is due to their marginalization by the dominant political forces on the Iraqi scene). He added: (The political custom was and still based on the base of participation of all Iraqi components. So the Faily Kurds are supposed to be given two seats at least in the parliament with one ministry in the government. Anyway, this should be a great lesson for the Faily Kurds to be understood. They have to realize their real size in the next census and head towards the reunification and to be one woof.)
For its part, Dr. Fa'iza Baba Khan said in an interview with Shafaq: (Non-solidarity of Faily Kurds and being not centered about their common cause weakens their position in front of the blocks and other components. Number of them being away from the list of the Kurdistan Alliance and the dispersal of votes among the other lists is a weakness factor that hurt the Faily Kurds sect, which must not forget their nationality and that they are an integral part of the Kurdish nation)
