After the decision of the Supreme Criminal Court in the case of the Faily Kurds, which regarded it as a crime of genocide ,...

a question come into the Faily Kurds minds about the tasks of Parliament and the Kurdistan Regional Government towards them? Will they demand to compensate them as the federal government demanded compensation for the victims of the notorious Anfal operations, and the crime of bombing the city of Halabja with chemical weapons? 
The head of the Change bloc in the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region Adnan Othman, expressed his delight at the verdict imposed on those convicted in the case of the Faily Kurds, said in an interview with (Shafaq) :"The court's decision  which was issued in the case of the Kurds and which regarded the crimes committed against them as a crime of genocide has its effect in terms of moral, but what it is required is to have an impact in terms of physical action by which  the rights that were looted from the Faily Kurds  are to be returned to them and they have to get compensation for what they had lost.

For her part, Suzanne Shihab Member of Parliament in the region of Kurdistan expressed her pleasure to the decision of  the Supreme Criminal Court. She explained:"The procedure which must coincide and be associated with the decision of the Court is the compensation for damage to them and for physical and moral harm. The parliament and the Kurdistan Regional Government are supposed to work with the federal government through the House of Representatives and the Kurdish representatives in Iraqi parliament to pass a political decision that provides material and moral compensation which is to be compulsively implemented ".
