Shafaq

The Sociologist Muti'b Manaf in an interview with Shafaq said that …

"Not only Faily Kurds customs and traditions had been weakened, but also the weakness of customs and traditions happened to many Iraqi communities and even western societies in general as well.  This was so clear after the changes that had occurred in the ways of social interaction after the Second World War as acceleration of the movement of social changes was not familiar by man.
He added that "Political conditions experienced by Iraq and the successive governments that ruled it had been unable to deal with the multiplicity of the Iraqi people , so they used deletion and cruelty. This caused a negative impact on customs and traditions. Therefore, in cases of social confusion those governments looked for scapegoats to becloud their social identity."
He explained that the Faily Kurds sect is connected to daily life items in Iraq  for they are contributors of building  the Iraqi personality  and they are distinct in their tolerance  in addition to their captivating beauty and healthy and right structure of their bodies . That is why so many Iraqi families seeking to marry and mix with them."
He pointed out that "It is supposed to deal with people on the basis of citizenship and on what can people make to society. The Faily Kurds have contributed in building the society economically, socially and culturally with the seriousness and sincerity they bring in the exercise of their work."
He stressed that "The measurement of citizenship should be on the basis of what man offer to society not on the ethnic backgrounds .I believe that the Faily Kurds success in building the society is highly successful and that was what we felt in the areas that had been displaced and abandoned and the areas they were transferred to."
