Shafaq
After the fall of the dictatorship in 2003 many organizations of civil society …
that bears the name of the Faily Kurds, as well as active unions and political organizations have been established. But the problematic regulatory which confounded the work of many of these organizations is the lack of knowledge of the nature of the civil work and its conditions. They did not set a clear program which appoints the tasks and goals of these organizations. So, they got mixed up between the civil, work and the political work, and this is one pest of the civil society organizations in Iraq in general, because of the lack of experience and lack of civic awareness .Despite the
differences growth, some civil society organizations continued to work .The important thing is that the absence of difference culture, which is regarded as healthy condition in the atmosphere of democracy and the necessity of being one of the cranes of evolution. But instead of that, differences emerge and began to necrosis the structure of some Faily organizations and make them empty addresses unable to withstand the winds of challenges.
Mohammed Ali Mandalawi civil rights activist and Vice-President of the Socio-Cultural Association for the Faily Kurds said,: (The most important challenges facing our cause is political multiple affiliations which have created in so many times the case of intersections that affected our ability and made us unable to obtain the minimum rights of the Faily Kurds).
Activist and president of the charitable organization in the Organization of the Liberals andWidad Rajab said in an interview with Shafaq: (the differences are healthy situation and everyone agrees on the legitimate rights of the Faily Kurds, but the problem lies in the methods of work and how to obtaining those rights and we are distributed between being Shiite and being Kurds. So divisions appear and become a breeding ground for the emergence of people pursuing for their personal interests, and that exacerbated of the differences in this particular period is due to our failure in obtaining a seat in the current parliament because of the dispersion of our votes between different parties).
