Displaced Faily Kurds suffer from cruelty of exile, and the maze at home
Shafaq
When the dictator fell in 2003 many Faily Kurds rushed to return. They were looking forwards …
a promising future to erase their memories of the black days and the suffering of alienation and its severity.
Citizen Jalal Ismail explained in an interview with Shafaq:
(Most of Faily Kurds lived in the neighborhoods of al-Kifah Street, particularly in Aldahhana and Abu Dudu and Akd Alakrad .But today the displaced could not find home after they returned except the old houses whose rooms became crowded with their big families.)
Aadil Shirwani said: (We do not deny the efforts made by the Ministry of Displacement and Migration, but what it offered to the displaced returnees did not come up to their real needs)
The Deputy Director General of the Immigration Service in the Ministry of Displacement and Migration, Sattar Nowruz said in
an interview with Shafaq,: (Yes, we received information about the returnees in the last period and they came in groups and our ministry have got a big role in their return and the ministry in coordination with the Secretariat of the Cabinet got grants to the returned families . Housing lands have been allocated for them in order to solve the housing problem, and we do not deny that their major problem is the confiscation of their property in the former period , including movable and immovable properties and returning these properties to them needs long time ).
