Political woman analyst: Iraqi Kurds would remain as America's allies

According to Greek political woman analyst, said the Iraqi Kurds have become important allies to achieve U.S. interests in the region, raising at the same time the question: How can this alliance be developed in a time when U.S. forces to withdraw from Iraq?.: "I think that everything is going well."
According to Kharudaki in response to a question about the beginning of the US - the Kurdish relations, "The beginnings of American - Kurdish Relations was dated back to 1969, and it was for this reason natural to find the American interests in the governorate of Kurdistan. The United States at that time was waging the Cold War with the Soviet Union . Therefore Washington wanted, through its relations with the Kurds, to reduce the role of USSR in the Middle East, but those relationships did not bring the interest for the Kurdish people. The  second reason was that the United States and Iran were allied both of which love the Iraqi Kurds because they were causing to weaken the Iraqi government." Mariana Kharudaki, specialized in the field of Kurdish -American relations, said in a special interview.
"The Iraqi Kurds harvested the interest of these relations through various ways, including surviving  as having Government in the Kurdistan region representing them, which is perhaps the most prominent benefit gained by the Kurds, as well as the draft law for their oil, and participation in the political process with the level of Region , and to be welcomed at the global level. The President of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani  has been welcomed in 2005 by the American president George W. Bush. This  indicates that the Kurds have made the benefit of their relations with Washington. " Kharudaki said In response to a question on how the Iraqi Kurds can reap interests behind their relations with the United States.
"Without a doubt there are possibilities of starting a crisis, like all relationships. In spite of that  I see that the Iraqi Kurds and the United States are seeking to keep their alliance for a long time." She said In response to a question on the possibility of starting a crisis in the future.
Mariana Kharudaki chose history of Kurdish – American relations  as the subject of her PhD thesis , and then she printed it in a book entitled (the Kurds and the policy of the United States since 1945) which was published in 2010 in English, then translated into Kurdish by Mamkak and the translation was printed in Aras Publishing and distribution House .
