"The Iraqi Council of Representatives voted in its 17th session, headed by Osama Nujaifi today on the law of journalists protection  according to a draft law submitted by the Committee on Culture and Media after the completion of the amendments demanded by the journalists." The Committee on Culture and Media has worked on parliamentary change on the label of the bill from journalists protection law to the journalists rights law because the first label caused parliamentary and a journalist dispute.
