A statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister a copy of which was received by Shafaq said : "Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is holding daily public meetings for the Council of Ministers directly on the air at eight in the evening. "
For his part, an MP for the Iraqia List, called on constantly broadcast of the meetings of the Council of Ministers along the lines of the public hearings of  the House of Representatives. "
