The Calligrapher Saman Mandalawi is one of the characters in the field of calligraphy, and in order to identify this artist we hosted him and had this short dialogue :
* We would like to know the calligrapher Saman Mandalawi, what do you say?
- My name is Saman Ali Juma'a Mandalawi, born in 1968 in the city of Baquba, capital of Diyala Governorate . I  identified the calligraphy because of my father, who was working as Secretary of the Public Library in the town of Mandili, and then the city of Baquba in the sixties of the last century.
Q: What about your style in the field of calligraphy, is it the classic style?
- The style of " Nastaleeq' calligraphy(It was incorrectly called Persian calligraphy ) which was prevailing  was  so limited and undeveloped, but I practiced a lot and I made a progress in this area gradually
