Q: Would you talk to us about your CV?
- After I had got a master's degree and completed a doctorate from the University of Sulaimaniyah I stayed there for one year, then transferred the University to Erbil which was latter named as (University of Salah al-Din) and in 1990 I obtained the title of professor in geography, I have a collection of books printed and others are waiting for printing in a variety of subjects, political, and historical, especially around the deducted areas of Kurdistan .
* What do you think the reason for not implementing the census?
- There are no doubt political motives of transformation without a census, because the officials in the Iraqi government believe that there is no possibility for the application of Article 140 in any form, because they are sure that the application of the article solve the problems of the deducted areas which will return to the embrace of the mother homeland of Kurdistan.
* You found yourself in Khanaqin again, how did you find it ?
- I extend my thanks and gratitude to the Khanaqin cultural Center that gave me the opportunity to visit the city like it once again and to give a seminar on the geopolitics of the region.
*Are not there are economic reasons as well as political motives behind the decision to annex the oil fields of Naft Khanah to the Central Oil Company?
- This decision is not justified at all, but to try to truncate the areas belonging to Kurdistan Region .Such decision is similar in nature to the decisions and actions taken in Kirkuk and other Kurdish areas in order to prevent its return and its accession to the motherland of Kurdistan Region.
* What do you say about the issue of the Faily Kurds?
- Actually the Faily Kurds have been subjected to the greatest humanitarian catastrophe and made great and expensive sacrifices, starting with their deportation from their villages and towns of Badra and Jassan and Mandili and Khanaqin and from Baghdad to the eastern borders. In fact the Faily Kurds have been the victims of the Arabization policy more than any other component or any other region in Iraq since the founding of the Iraqi state
