The Faily Kurds were at the forefront of the Kurdish nationalist strugglers.
Shafaq Shafaq met the writer and former Director General of the House of Kurdish Culture and publishing Dr. Fouad Hama Khurshid and we had this dialogue with him:…
* You occupied the post of the director of the Kurdish culture and publishing at an earlier stage. Was the institution able to provide a solid cultural bridge between Arabs and Kurds?
Before anything of this could be achieved, the terrorist attack was intensified in the years 2005 / 2006 / 2007, some areas of Baghdad fell under , terrorism. Therefore it was not possible to open those bridges by doing required cultural activities, while the house was twice destroyed and reformed and we were unable to do cultural activities actively, but to say the truth the House of Kurdish Culture issued a Kurdish new magazine under the name (Ke Remian) and appointed many of our brothers the Kurds as guards to protect the department
- Some Iraqi politicians look with suspicion at the issue of federalism in Iraq, do not you think that solving the Iraq's immediate and future problems lies in the adoption of federalism for all regions of Iraq?
* Federalism is one of the most responsive regimes to the wishes of the people and it comes in line with the ideas of democracy, particularly in countries which contains more than one people, or group of nationalities or religions, but the problem lies in the culture and education. Most Iraqis were learned and raised under the culture of the totalitarian central regime .
