that the political parties that opposed the implementation of Article 140 of the Constitution now calls for the formation of Regions, stressing that the reason of the impediment of the  implementation of this article is the differences between the political blocs and the ideologies of the lists and parties.
"The political parties that opposed the implementation of Article 140 of the constitution now calls for the formation of Regions," Talib Mohammad Karim, said in an interview with Shafaq noting that "The parliament head Osama Nujaifi, a senior member of the Iraqi List, talked according to the Constitution."
"Why had these parties refused to form Regions before  and they accused the parties that called for that as unpatriotic, and that they tried to partition of Iraq?" Karim, the director of the Faily Cultural Center inquired ,adding "The first Region that has already been before the constitution was written is the Region of Kurdistan, as some have tried to create a Region in the south but it faced intellectual, political and social Problems. "
