There were examples of brave Kurdish women whose bravery was not less than that of the Kurdish men . Ms . Mah Mandhur the mother of the  Kurdish prince  Karim Khan made historical deeds against the enemies who captured her together with other fifty women , but she could free herself as well as the other men and women.

Another woman whose courage was not less than the courage of her man brother. She was ( Khan Zad Quli Beb ) who became the administrator of the emirate after the death of her husband Suleiman Beg . She was known of her courage and justice . She led the armies and she used to wander in the lanes during nights to take care of her citizens . The same things and qualities was known with another woman struggler whose name was Qadam Kair.

In our modern history Layla Qassim presented another bright example of faith and courage when she stood with a brave heart in the face of the former dictatorial regime  . She was imprisoned and tortured severely but she offered her life for the Kurdish National Liberation Movement goals which she joined since her early  youth.
