Faily Kurdish singer Redha Ali

Redha Ali was born in Hamada market in the Karkh district of Baghdad, learning in schools…

and then he studied at the Institute of Fine Arts. After he had graduated in the mid-forties he entered the radio station and began his professional art. He could form a center of attraction through his melodies and his impact on the music scene in Iraq and his fame spread to Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and his news attracted some female singers such as Fa'iza Ahmed Samira Tawfik, Narjis Shawqy and Insaf Munir and   Nahawand, and others. They came  to Baghdad asking for his melodies .He was  indebted to Sheikh Ali Darwish, who helped him enter the radio station and passed the test and recorded  the first song to him, in  1949 ( Your love puzzled me), then came the song of all seasons (Samar Samar). His role was not only singing and composing, but he was a cinema actor in some movies, including the Iraqi film (Arhmoni)( Have mercy on me ) with the singer Haifa Hussein.

He has been forced in 2001 to leave Iraq to Europe to live there and work in the factory for leather industries, having narrowed his ways. . He died on the ninth of April 2005 after he left a great artistic legacy of songs and original Iraq tunes.
