Masses down to the street ... All heading on foot towards the Ministry of Defense .. To meet the call and advocate the leader of the nation and the father of the poor .   The masses came closer to the ministry building .They were calling for the fall of the plot. They requested for equipment to fight with him and sacrifice for him… Leader, we call for arms in the name of the farmers and workers.. Nothing deterred the will of those heroes except the phrase quoted by the leader  (Don't worry.. we will eliminate the coup within hours) but the ministry and the government as well  fell . A real confrontation between the people and conspiracy started The Failis returned from the Ministry of Defense after they offered  the first martyr of them on its door (Hashim, Ghulam Ali) ... Yes, but they did not return to their homes but to the battle ... Everyone holed up in the streets and alleys, some of them carried light weapons (white weapons  . The leadership of the region was given to the heroes the martyr hero Lateef Alhaj and Mohamed Saleh Alaballi (Head of Workers Line of the Iraqi Communist Party) ...Four comrades received four guns (Fuad Hatim, Reza Aziz, Talib and Hazim Maslawi) Fuad entrenched in the balcony of an apartment belonging to the Mahdi al-Rubaie and was close to the Alnahdha Square.

At the opposite end was the martyr Hazim closer to the scene from Fuad position, the resistance was concentrated in the area stretching from the Alnahdha to the yard of Qadiriya Hadra.

The heroes defeated three tanks belonged to the coup by using simple weapons..    The resistance ended after three days, but her memory is still immortal in our hearts and our consciences like the immortal leader Abd al-Kari m Qassim.. Peace be upon you Akd Alakrad ...  brave home protectors and of peace..  Greetings to you brave woman who you were and you are still (Rabittiya)( member of women association ) You Kurdish Faily that could not say anything except a curse on the Baathists and praying to God and the saints  to support leader Abdul Karim Qassim,and the Revolution and its children.
