of the Kurdish people under the leadership of  Al-Barzani the immortal. Groups of Peshmerga militants heroes have been composed for the survival of the revolution, and was able to fight in many battles against the henchmen and agents of the dictatorial regime who suffered of heavy losses . Peshmerga captured many members of the defunct regime. Therefore  And the Golan revolution was an extension of the great September revolution, as well as  it was a basic building block of the path of the gains achieved after the uprising of spring 1991, which paved the way for the first parliamentary elections, in the history of the Kurdish people today and the election of the National Council of Kurdistan and the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government and self-management developed for the region. Also it contributed with the Iraqi opposition forces and multinational forces to topple the dictatorial regime in Iraq in April 9, 2003.
