Why did Ahmed Khani write the epic of(mm and Zain?

Bioar Zebari /

This epic was born at a time when the Kurds were living in a dire need of the emergence to the world, …

so the epic broke many obstacles that were impeding the march of the Kurdish nation . So the East and West knew what  the Kurds are . It was a clear declaration about the combination of Kurdish poetry with the Eastern and Western literature. The appearance of such a noble writer was a sign to promote intellectual, physical and cultural heritage of the people  who was unknown  by others before, especially by a superpower that occupied  its lands .They were the Ottoman and Persian states  which wanted to deny the Kurdish emirates because the occupied the territory of Kurdistan at the time. Ahmed Khani declared through the epic  of( mm and Zain) the existence of Kurds strongly and started the process of raising its banner high and showed his love for his homeland and his people  and portrayed all the suffering and the tragedy of the poor nation that  was powerless. Therefore we must say that Ahmad Khani had several reasons for the spark of this pent-up emotion and  he cried with the voice of poetry the face of all those who lessen his great nation and declares its noble objectives of the human equality .He formulated "mm and zain" with the most wonderful words and beautiful images in order to make it live forever, because it is the sole poetry which does not die . He wanted  to tell the world that the Kurds  have got the hearts of gentle love of life and peace at the time they were known as having cruel hearts and  they were lovers of war and they love the blood and live in the mountains like wild beasts.
