Glimpses on the establishment of the first school for the Faily Kurds in Baghdad ..

The history of establishing the first school of the Faily Kurds in Baghdad dates back to the year (1946)…

In this year a body of the Faily Kurds had been formed headed by Hajj (Ali Haider) to establish a  primary school under the name of  Faily  Primary School. It was approved by the Ministry of Education at that time, and Mr.Mahdi Hussein was nominated as its manager.
That school consisted of two sections the first section consists of the first and second classes in (Aldokajia)  while the third, fourth, fifth and sixth classes were  in the other side, then an evening high school was added in the same area , and its headmaster  was (Mr. Hussein Al saiwani ) . Hajj  Ahmad who was nicknamed  as Hajj Ahmad Alkurdi donated the building in the Alsadria  neighborhood. Also  the Kurdish  merchants  in Baghdad  at the head of whom were Nokhas Hajj Murad and Mr. Hajj Ahmed Alkurdi and others contributed in collecting money for the success of this school
