However, these crimes have  been documented and archived and this has taken a variety of documentation methods, including:
1 – Writing historical books with an objective and analytical reports, stories and articles in the print media, video and audio. Several writers and authors have already documented the crimes of the Anfal and the displacement.
2 –The  use of the cinematic art and film industry .A  lot of documentary movies about  Anfal crimes, deportation and mass graves were directed  like the film ("Anfal" in the name of God, the Baath and Saddam) produced by the Kurdistan director Manu Khalil. This movie is a historical document of the organized crimes and the state official terrorism.
3 - International conferences are also a means of documentation and archiving, such as acts of the Third International Conference of the mass graves, which was held in Erbil, under the auspices of Dr. Barham Salih, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.
