The suffering of the Faily Kurds started with the beginning of the Iraqi state

Shafaq The  Kurdish historian Hiwa Almufti told Shafaq that "The suffering of the Faily Kurds…

is dated back to the beginnings of the establishment of the Iraqi state and the issuance of the Iraqi Constitution in the twenties of the last century," adding, "They have endured numerous bitter calamities because of their geographical reality on the borders between Iraq and Iran."
He said that "Faily Kurds, have been victims of conflicts between the Ottoman and Persian countries for several decades, as have tens of thousands of victims of men and women, the elderly and children, till they have become fuel for the battles and conflicts between the two Turkish and Persian states."
He explained, "With the beginning of the black coup of  the eighth of February 1963,  the coup Baathists showed their plentiful hatred on the people of this segment for several reasons including: that the Faily are the backbone of the movement of commerce and industry and economic development in Iraq, so the greed of the Baathists in  their property and their money was unlimited." Referring "The attitude of the Faily Kurds  against the gangs of the black coup, of  the eighth of February, was clear, through standing against them in revolutions and protests that swept the areas they resided in such as  "Aqd Alkrad" . These revolutionary activities against the Ba'athiests   planted malice buried in the hearts of the chauvinists who started campaigns of genocide, which affected hundreds of thousands of this genuine Iraqi component .
