Shafaq News /The leading figure  of the Change Movement Latif Sheikh Mustafa said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" "The request of the Federal Ministry of Interior from the Kurdistan Region to hand over the Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, is misplaced because it is under the authorization of President Jalal Talabani who declared that his deputy is in his hospitality, This means that the President of the Republic ,is the person who  lodged him  not the Region. "President Jalal Talabani said in a statement issued by his office, on 24/12/2012, for the Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, against whom a warrant arrest had been issued  is in his hospitality, and will be brought to justice anywhere linked to be reassured  in terms of justice of  investigation and trial.

Sheikh Mustafa, the member of the parliamentary legal committee that "the problem of the vice president confined between two authorities the Presidency and the Supreme Judicial Council," noting that " The power of judiciary is supposed to demand the president to hand over his deputy, Tariq al-Hashemi, not the Region of Kurdistan."
