Shafaq News/ An Indian family confirmed it was waiting for permission from the government of her country for a trip to Iraq to bury the body of wife of last ruler of the state of Rampur princely previously in India in Karbala on her will, and pointed out that the request was made for a long time,
but the Iraqi governments have kept it on hold, noting that the princess's body remained mummified since 1993."The domestic administration of the jurisdiction had received a letter from the Iraqi embassy on the non-objection to send the body of Princess Sakina Oz Zamani and buried in Karbala on the basis of a will written before the death," The judge of Balkar Singh state said in a statement "Shafaq News" has been informed about, adding that the local authorities in have no objection about to the transferring of the body. "The body of Princess Zamani has been left for 18 years, waiting to be buried in Karbala, kept in a mummification using sandalwood, camphor, oils and aromatic herbs, henna, and then placed in a coffin hanging on the rise of two feet from the ground by an iron chain in the palace of her family, "Kothei Khas Bagh," in Rampur since then.Before the advent of the British, Rampur was ruled by Nuwwabs . The late Princess, Sakina Oz Zamani, was the wife of the last ruler from the Nuwwabs , Murtaza Ali, in 1993, and her last wish mentioned in her will was to be buried in Karbala in Iraq beside her husband.
